Have recently read that the Health and Safety Laboratory have blocked the plans for reopening the High Peak Railway as a multi-user route across their land, despite the planning application being already granted.

Anybody know any more about this?

Ironic that an organisation involved in ensuring peoples safety block an off-road trail leaving cyclists on the dangerous A53 into Buxton.
