I was very lucky as my birthday was just a few weeks ago so got a few then as well as over Xmas:

Jura original , Glenrothes and a monkey shoulder. Enjoying the Glenrothes at the moment and looking forward to trying the monkey shoulder as it’s one I’ve not had before.

Not as a gift, but I was sent to Tesco on Monday to make use of a £40 off if you spend over £80 voucher, so I put a bottle of Dalwhinnie in the trolley, purely to ensure it went over £80 you understand. Just enjoying it now.

Trying to build it up a bit this winter.
Got three or four last year, but didn’t restock.

Currently got an Aberlour, a Glenlivet, a Jura Origin, the Aberfeldy and the Glenmorangie on the go.
Only been drinking the stuff for a few years, tried a dozen or so, still loads for me to go at.

Out of the ones I’ve tried so far, Highland Park or Abelour are my favouites.

Didn’t like the Glen Moray, the Fettercairn Fasque or Auchentoshan.

Jura is one whisky I just don’t like.

My brother got me a Glen Kinchie. This is a whisky from south of Edinburgh so I am treating with great suspicion.

A set of Jura miniatures – origin/superstition/duirachs own which should give me at least two large shots per bottle, plus we treated ourselves to a full size bottle of Duirach’s Own for Xmas 🙂

A very special (at least I think so) Kilchoman 2007, not long bottled. Bought for my daughter who was born in 2007, so hope it ages well as she won’t be getting it till she is 18. My brother gave me a bottle as a present and his friends gave him a bottle for his birthday.
