A friend of mine is stocking up on this. It seems awfully expensive to me….is it worth it?

Forget quantitative judgements, how is it from a qualitative pov? Nectar or no better than a bottle of Talisker?

It’ll be worth it from a resale perspective I expect; Rosebank went pop a little while back, so when it’s gone, it’s gone.

Imagine buying it and storing it for an investment!!!

It would keep calling to you FFS.

Pretty standard lowland malt, not worth raving about IMO, but if it’s to your taste that’s fine. You’ll be paying a premium for it’s rarity though, so as Cougar says it’s maybe a keeper not a drinker.

    £20 15yr Dalwhinnie @ Sainsburys FTW!

Never tried it but £60 is expensive for single malt of that age.

Its a lowland malt so its unlikely to taste like Talisker

To be fair, ton, whisky is for drinking and whiskey is used to fill up the windscreen washer bottle in your car 😀
