not ridden whinlatter, or any other trail center for about 6 or more years.
up the lakes with a large group this weekend, but fancied a bit of a quiet ride tomorrow.
so thought about doing a trail center ride, and whinlatter fits.

anyone up there, and what are the conditions like at present?

No idea on conditions but I’ll never forget the day we did the first Whinlatter Challenge.
Billed as 30 miles as we arrived at what we thought was the finish at the centre & about 29 miles, the marshall sent us on round the back of the forest.
I think you said **** it & said I’ve come all this way I’ll finish it.
I came in 2nd last, hit the wall big time, got helped off the bike & my girlfriend (now wife) of 1 month had to drive me home to Tadcaster.
We were stopping in the same hotel the night before.
You were on the big Ventana full sus.

    Enjoy it tomorrow!

I’d worth noting its the Malcolm Wilson rally this weekend.

I think the forest will be open as usual tomorrow, rally on Saturday though.

Unfortunately I’m in work tomorrow otherwise I would of been tempted.

It’ll be a bit damp and slippy on the slate, particularly the north loop, but should be good fun as always.
