Going to call in at Whinlatter tomorrow, want to have a ride with a 12 year old newbie and try and watch some of the racing.

Will the Blue trail be open?
Is there a good vantage point to watch the racing that is near the visitors centre, or an easy ride from it?
Any idea what time the racing winds up?

Racing should be finished by 3pm (it starts at 9:30)

Starts from 8am. 250 riders divided into groups of 10. One half to start on N side and other on S, staggered starts obviously. For spectating, there are sections close to VC, but you’ll need to follow riders and find taped off areas. Most of blue should be fine, but they may close it. Finish early afternoon I’d guess.
