Her indoors has a netbook, that I now have to fit a new panel on.

It’s a fairly rubbish Hp netbook 13ish screen that I’ve removed after the good lady closed it with some paper and a pen in between the screen and keyboard, resulting in a quite spectacular rainbow effect. She insists I should repair it, replacement screens seem to average about £40 from googling.

My question is, does anyone have good or bad experience, or recommended suppliers? I guess they are pretty generic so can just get a random one off amazon?

    Thanks

We have had a couple of bits from this guy on eBay before –

    TJ Inspirations

But it was always good quality, well packed, and the 2 screens we had are still going strong.

    Cheers

I’ve replaced a laptop screen, and I imagine this won’t be too different. It’s fairly straightforward.

don’t drop the screws on the floor

do it all in one go so you remember which screw went where

its quite easy really, more people should do it rather than replace
