Can any one recommend a good wheel building book in electronic format?

    @ wicki

    go to here http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/

spend £9 and you can get the pdf and all updated revisions, if you so desire you can even print it out.

    Second WheelPro.

I’ve also used The Art of wheel building in the past. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Wheelbuilding-Gerd-Schraner/dp/0964983532

Though Wheelpro is I think a better book (and has tool making instructions).

The Wheelpro book must be one of the most outstanding bargains in cycling.

As for a stand, I’ve used a fairly basic Minoura for most of my wheels and never had any bother with axle types, including 148 Boost rears.
