Hi, I have a Saint rear derailleur but a metal bit in my SRAM x9 shifter has snapped. I’m looking at getting a replacement shifter. Has anyone got any recommendations and why please? There doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of difference between them all. Thanks

Saint, thats what i used with mine and it worked fine.

Sram X9, X7 etc shifters won’t work with Shimano rear mechs. You need a Sram Attack or Rocket, or a Shimano one (take your pick).

I heard that there isn’t much difference between the Saint and XT shifters but that XT can be bought for less. Anyone had any problems with either of these two?
