I have to go up to Chester for a meeting and can squeeze in two days riding while I am up there. I am staying in Betws Y Coed, so I guess the options open to me are the trails there, at CYB and at Machynllth.

I've ridden at all these places before but not for the last three years and I know there has been a lot of work done there over that time. So which two venues and which trails to take in?

The Marin Trail is nice and mature now that Llandegla has taken it's traffic away.

If it's dry Penmachno is great, but it does hold a lot of puddles all the way around.

Why not do Llandegla on route from Chester to ByC?

As you're in Betws Y Coed, do the Marin, it's on your door step

Penmachno is just outside Betsy and is great fun. If you're keen and/or fit you can easily do the Marin and Penmachno in one day.
