Small festies are where it’s at. None of that money-grabbing commercial malarkey.

We’re off to Bearded Theory in Derbyshire.
Great line up of bands, plus superb acts in the dance tent.
Last year took the daughter to her first festival – Shamania psytrance festie in Lancashire. She loved it! 😀
Nozstock in Herefordshire looks good too.

Big Music from small nations, small festival in wales.
took our kids a couple of years ago and had a ball.
You will almost certainly never have heard of any of the bands playing,
but we really had a great time.

Cropredy Festival in August is good but appears to be getting in on the ‘stealth expense’ these days. A really friendly, nice, smaller festival – if you like folk music.

Also, my sis goes to loads of those fake festivals – tribute bands instead of the real thing, at a fraction of the price. She says the Foo Fighters and Green Day ones are really good.

Surely, it has to be one that’s going to be in the New Forest in August, which will be a very family friendly mix of music, mountain biking, beer and loads of other exciting activities. Were such an event to be held, I’m sure now would be a good time to buy tickets, as I’m sure they would be selling out fast!

Now, would anyone know of such a wondrous fest?
