    I need to give my insurance company a quote to replace my Ragley Mmmbop that was nicked recently. My policy is new for old and claim limit is £2k. The bike would cost around that to rebuild new. Original spec was Fox 36 160’s with a mix of XT and Deore kit.

    They expect me to go to LBS and get a quote for an off the shelf equivalent. Any suggestions or experience with bike insurance claims?

    …apparently 26″ wheels are obsolete. Would like to keep compatibility with full sus and my tyre stock.
