If it's cheap and heap you're after then you can't go wrong with the venerable Bandit 600. Went all over Europe two-up on mine and moved up to the 1200, never looked back.

You know it makes sense. This is what they are designed for and they do it so well.

I have now read a lot about the BlackBird and it seems the bike for the job. I am probably going to get one later this year as we might be moving to deepest darkest Germany (2 hours from the nearest airport by high speed train).
The Blackbird is an amazing bike; super fast, ultra reliable and very comfortable.. from what I have read.
