Renthal Fatbar Lite Carbons are flexy in an acceptable way, they’re 740mm though.

    On-One?
Not used them, but they list a chewy option!

Hi had a look at the On One Chewy flavour are 747mm. If I can’t find an alternative wider bar say 760 – 780 then I’d give them a try.

Are the 740mm Fat boy lite carbon the same compliance wise as their wider brethren?

I’ve a pair of 40mm risers and tbh find them stiffer than the Easton DH carbons they replaced, even though lighter 177g vs 220g and wider 740mm vs 711mm.

    Still work well though.

Have the On-One Knuckleball in chewy version that I really like. Very comfortable bar. In use on my rigid stooge.

Get some Ali bars and live with the weight difference. Its not much.

Shave your head or take a dump before you go riding.

Carbon bars can be stiff and still damp the tail buzz.

    That’s why I buy them.

Easton are usually a safe bet. Race face good too.

Would of jumped at them if they were wider..good price though.

ESI (extra chunky) grips made far more difference for me than any of the carbon bars I’ve tried. Expensive for grips but I’ll never go back to lockons now and really can’t recommend them highly enough.

@ winch….I use these grips which are about 35mm in Diameter and find them thick enough for my large hands but I’d be interested to try something the same diameter but softer..lock-ons, I find, too hard also.

I run the renthal fat lite carbon, they are stiffer than the knuckleball chewy.

Stiff bars are functional – seek compliance/dampening qualities elsewhere IMO ..
