Looking for some thoughts here everyone.
Want to build up a new steel hardtail for a variety of uses – riding trails, puling trailers, carrying daughters on bike seats.
Been looking around and putting cost aside for a moment I am now in a debate as to what wheel size. 26″ or 29″?
I have an offer on a new rock lobster 26″ red frame which is sweet (£350). I have found a deal on an On One Inbred also 26″, but with a 100mm fork.
A friend advises away from 26″. If i did move away it would be a Stanton Sherpa 29″ but frankly i don’t really have the money for that now.
So question is: what size? which frame? and anyone know any other good deals on steel hardtail – maybe 29″?
