I’ve packed 2 bikes (SC Nomad and Whyte E120) for the kona mash up this weekend as i cant decide which one to ride. The nomad is fast when it points down but the Whyte is fast on the flats and ups. So which one will be fastest overall???

120 for the endurance cat.
nomad for the technical/not very technical

Anything but a HT unless there’s a HT category IMHO, Fun but leave you feeling raped…

Even on the enduro, you’re only actually timed on one climbing section which the winner will do in about 5 mins I think, most about 10…

I’d agree with Sharki’s assessment. A lot of the descents at Afan are very drawn out and pedally still, having ridden a Froggy there, I’d still pick a 5″ bike in order to get down quicker…
