Got to replace my son BB on his Spech hardrock, according to their web site its “Truvativ Power Spline, cartridge bearing, 68 x 113mm for 47.5mm chainline” any recomendation for a replacment?

Powerspline is specific to Truvativ so you dint get many options.

Yep, Powerspline isn’t Isis. TBH your best bet is to replace the crank, I had one of those powerspline isoflows and went through 2 BBs in something like 500 miles, they were awful. The square taper version of the crank can be found for £30 or thereabouts and then you’re not stuck, or better still a deore or something… Bottom line is it’s more expensive today but it’ll pay for itself in no time at all

Thanks for that, I was looking at a Shimano. So that would have been a mistake
