Great stage win for Plaza too, solo for about 120k from a big strong but disorganised chase. Impressive stuff.
It’s never awesome to watch an unrepentant ex doper racing. Valverde has been really lively all through the race but anything he does is tarnished in my eyes.
He kinda wasn’t, he def had 3 bad days where he lost time.
