Just decided to go to the peaks with a mate tomorrow for a spot of walking, we normally head towards kinder, anyone got any other suggestions of where we should try,

Normally look for about 2-3 hours, but if its nice have be known to loop for 5 hours, and we’re coming up from Northampton so normally get off at Junc 29 of M1, planning on leaving at 6.30 tomorrow morning, if that helps

    cheers all

baslow / froggat / curbar edge, from baslow or chatsworth? Not as ‘core as Kinder, but would be stunning in this weather (IMO)

Lathkill dale, Wolfscote dale etc. would be good options at the moment IMO as you should be sheltered from the wind a bit more.

Away from the Kinder/Hope/Castleton area one of my favourites is a loop around Youlgreave, Bradford Dale, up and over to Lathkill Dale, downstream past Conkesbury bridge to the bridge at Alport and back up Bradford Dale to Youlgreave.
