Where’s the best place to shift my old shifters and the likes?
Mostly LX and XTR from the early/mid 90’s plus the obligatory purple anodised kit too.

I’d say eBay, it will sell, though don’t expect £200 for the shifters etc!

Old thumbies seem to go for a good price.

No not expecting it to be a gold mine. Just that I’m never going to use it.
Thanks I will check out retrobike.

I still have my XT thumbies which work on 8 speed gear. Going to be using them again very soon…..

Oh I need some retro / old stuff! What you got? Is it 7 speed / 8 speed?

I’d use Ebay and be prepared to sell worldwide.

From the last few things I’ve sold on Ebay, I’ve got really great prices from buyers in America, Canada and Germany

I think this is because the pound is weak so their money goes further.

CM – 7 speed drop me a mail and I’ll brave the back of the shed at the weekend.
Ta for the worldwide selling tip too.
