Got a day off tomorrow so the plan was to head to Glenstress for some fun on the local and man made trails. We’ve had decent amount of snow in Dumfries last night/today so can anyone enlighten me on the trail conditions in Peebles??

Alternative is head to north lakes and pick a lower level ride, so again anyone in Kesiwck/Ambleside area care to comment on the snow levels?
We were thinking Hodge Close/Loughrigg route

There’s an inch or two of snow at low level in the south Dales, so I would expect a fair bit even on the lower level routes in the Lakes.
