Been starting to look around for some holiday options at new year, wondering if you lot can suggest anything…

Been trying to get flights in at under £500 return max, but ideally around £300 return. However if the flights are more expensive but the accommodation is cheaper once we get there then that’s also an option, sort of balance between the two.

We (me and mrs anus) are looking to go somewhere hot / warm, with the possibility of being able to go on the beach. Some mountains might be nice as would be interested in rising a bike, but not essential.

Any suggestions/experiences would be helpful.

The Canaries are pleasantly warm over New Year

+1 for the Canaries, I went to Tenerife last February and got a bit of biking in with Lavatrax. Cheap flights, good food, sunshine, mountains, volcanoes and beaches.
