Where is the best and cheepest place to get spokes from ?
I have looked at chain reaction but they dont have the size I need.

I am looking for some 292 for a 32 spoke ss rear wheel , so buying 32 or a box which ever is cheepest.

Daft question, I have seen some 290s on line for a bargain price, I shouldnt should I ?

Ive just done a build with 291 that ought to have been 293 and it’s a bit trickier to get the initial threading depth right for eveness and it’s worked, but I wouldnt recommend it.

as for where to buy, it depends on how many and what spoke.

Since I build wheels all the time (for fun) I usually buy 100 at a time as Im sure to use them eventually. one of my LBS will sell me Sapim Race for £30 a box.
