Whilst servicing a friends GT idrive 5 i noticed the bottom dog bone bolt was loose on trying to remove it was just spinning this is what I managed to remove

I can get the bolts from here, although a bit pricey. But have no idea what the nut bit that goes in the frame is known as to search for it. Anyone know what it is and where I can get one from and perhaps have a cheaper source for the bolts?

    Thanks

Looks right. I know there are differences in the dog bone between old and new models, but that’s going back years now and things may have changed again. However the bolts look much the same.

If you’re in need of GT help you can try the folk over on MTBR. They’ve got a fairly knowledgeable GT forum. The pivot maintenance thread was invaluable to me back when I had my I-Drive.

Thanks for that. If the new bolt doesn’t include the nut thing I shall ask over there.
