Three out of four of my wheels are tubeless.

I only need one valve, and don’t want to pay £13 for a pair. I can even buy a little bottle of sealant for one tyre.

They used to be sold singly. Why no more?

Roval were £3 a pair from Hargroves but the cores are fixed so a pain to clean if gummed up. Superstar £7 a pair and are perfectly fine with removable cores. I must try just cutting up an old tube one day!

Superstar ones are £6 for two iirc. I’ve been using them for months with no issues.

Probably no use to man nor beast, but I have one (35mm) without a core here, if someone needs it. Happy to post.

I’ve only ever used ones cut from an old tube and never had a problem, I am a tight northerner though..
