No Cosworths? This is me (co-driving) on Epynt a while ago:

…and trying to make up time after going off sideways into a Belgian field (no glass in my side of the car):

…and finally my last event in Wexford (2000):

192 mph. No seatbelts. Drum Brakes. Sadly involved in motorsport's worst tragedy ever in 1955 (obviously car number 20 was destroyed in said accident; this ain't the one..). A man's car however.

Along with one I posted earlier (which IMHO is far nicer looking than the Merc.)

    aracer,

POssibly so.. Both Proper racing cars unlike the ponces shite on F1 nowadays. Those mercs and Jags were doing F1 speeds with no downforce and skinny tyres. Unlike the hommers that claim they're racing drivers today.

and this year to celebrate the Lotus F1 team:

Exige S Type 72 – 20 to be sold in the UK representing the 20 victories of the original Type 72. Sat in one of these at the dealer in Preston whilst getting some work done to my Elise – looks even better in the flesh…

Alfa 155 V6 DTM car… About the most dominant (whilst it was racing) car any touring car racing series has ever seen. It pretty much cleaned up everything in 93-96!

    Almost 500bhp at 12,000rpm from a 2.5 litre V6!

    A normally aspirated 2.5 v6 at that! 😯

I always liked the look of these 2. The Beta montecarlo had a turbocharged 1.4 (yes you read it right) and was also rather successful (provided it didn't blow away with a large gust of wind.)

Are we all forgetting the 4.5 litre blower Bentley. 135mph round Brooklands in one of these would've taken some serious cojones.

I love this one 🙂 One of the best cars ever. Shame it’s now the ultimate Chav Mobile NOT a Celica as Surf-Mat reckons.

    And THE best car ever

Of course it looks better like this though

Beamers – so did I but blue and white!

Tyrrel’s factory was just down the road from where we lived – often hung around and picked up scrap bits exotic materials. What a sad git!

When I said “had” I obviously meant “have got”. Not seen the light of day for some years but it will rise again when the Beamlet shows the slightest bit of interest in the concept of Scalextric.

The S4 doesn’t have much in common with an Integrale, but you’re right, mine isn’t a racing car so here a proper one 🙂

Strange how Alfa/Guigaro just entirely forgot the indictators (forgiveable) and wing mirrors (not) when designing the 33, until the very last possible moment.

I suspect the same happened with the entire electrical system on my 156.
