Currently have 3 repaired punctures in my inner tube. How many more before replacing it?

till there isn’t any more room for new patches or when an old patch starts to leak/the hole is too large.

you only own one inner tube?

why replace it at all, the patched bits are now stronger than just rubber.

when it is irreparable obviously, altho when a tube is festooned with patches it might be an idea to switch it to your hack bike, all that extra weight! 🙂

If the valve is broke, or if you’re patching over patches.

At 10-20p for a patch, its cheaper than a new tube.

what’s the environmental impact of using patches and vulcanising solution, over throwing an inner tube away?
