Please don’t try this at home

I just google image searched ‘maggot with big mouth’ (don’t ask me why, it’s really not relevant).

The results were not at all what I expected and now I feel quite ill.

I know there’s some odd stuff out there but I really didn’t think I’d get the result I did. I’ll stick to looking at bicycle parts from now on.

There’s probably a moral to this but it’s escaped me.

I did tell you not to try it at home

I was expecting something out of that 70’s Dr Who series with the scarey (at the time) huge maggots in.

Whatever you do, don’t google image “Rosebud”.
I haven’t and never will after an article I saw online (or maybe it’s rosebudding). Disturbing stuff, I tell ya.

What did the maggot search show, out of interest?

I once lost the pouch to a well known multi-tool Swiss army type thing so thought i’d search the internet for a new one.

Having once made that mistake, I can confirm that this is good advice.

Clearly we all know the outcome of that – it’s the stupid things we don’t know the outcome of we’re likely to try…

The only picture that’s rather disgusting is the picture of the man with cancerous face which I felt very sorry for. I also happened to google Myiasis because I did not know what it meant … not nice but at least not cancerous.

But there are 3 pictures of dogs with maggots on their heads which make me very angry just by looking at them as they brought back plenty of my childhood memory, these pictures are similar to a very tame friendly wild dog that I got to know as a kid. It would visit me everyday until one day it turn up with a massive hole on his head full of maggots. I felt really sorry for the dog as I could not help it and there was no vet anyway near where I was. I felt angry as I knew someone must have tried to smash it’s head trying to kill it.

Try “leathermen”, “leatherman” only shows multi tools for me too. And even “leathermen” isn’t that scary, bit disappointing really.

    The original, though – 😯

It’s going back a few years, but a friend was looking after his niece who was a big fan of a new film about the adventures of a small pig.

With hindsight it should have been obvious but he quickly learned not to Google for “Babe” when children are present…

I once googled “Labour Party leader 1997-2007” and was presented with a sickening picture of a suppurating anus.

On the train the headline read ” worlds biggest snake discovered”.
Thought I would follow the story up when I got home as I didn’t have the paper.
Unless you like seeing gentlemen with their willies out don’t google worlds biggest snake.

10 years or so back I needed to purchase some of those compartmented food trays that are used in primary schools.

I didn’t know what the official name for them was (I now know they’re called food trays) but I knew the name of a manufacturer of them.

I now also know that if you google the manufacturer Rubbermaid and accidentally include a space after the 6th letter of said company’s name you have quite a bit of explaining to do to the IT Director
