Has anyone replaced the BB on a carbon framed Specalized with this

    http://www.evanscycles.com/products/wheels-manufacturing/pressfit-30-bottom-bracket-angular-contact-bearing-ec060217

Its to go on a 2014 Stumpjumper, but imagine the Camber and Enduro will use the same spec.

Plan is to bond in as recommended, currently have a bit of a issue with the 30mm axle moving in the bearings which can be cured short term with bearing fit compound but only lasts a few rides before creak is back

Running out of ideas, the hope bb appears to be 2 separate bearings in cups without any linking tube not much different to whats in there at the moment.

Any suggestions welcome, the BB has been replaced at a concept store before I bought it with SRAM item but looking for a long term fix as I love the bike

Yup. Put one on a mate’s bike. It lasts a lot longer than the SRAM piece of junk and has easily replaceable bearings, so you’re not constantly refitting the BB shell and potentially wearing out the frame
It’s a bit expensive IMO, though. Bearings are only £20-£25/pair for good ones so you’re paying £30+ for an alloy sleeve….
