I have built a few wheels, the latest d.t. broken hub. Replaced with identical hub, laced, trued and all fine but as late last night was not concentrating and the parallel spokes are not located either side of the valve hole. I'm not bothered but just checking that the wheel shold be OK i.e. strength – I doubt it makes any difference but just checking as cant be bothered to re-lace unless I have to 😉 Cheers.

No difference to strength, only embarrassment and convenience in pumping.

You can always blame it on the lbs if it gets notices 😛

No, won't make any difference strength wise, just not the 'correct' way to do it. Like above, just don't admit you built it yourself if anyone asks 😉
