I’ve bent the axle on my rear hub on my cx bike, I’m currently running rim brakes but the frame has a disk tab so I was wondering if there is any issues in buying a 135mm disk hub having it built up on the original rim then when the rim wears out or/and i’ve got a bit more money going to disks. An axle is not available.

if your frame is spaced for 135mm it won’t be a problem, if it is only 130mm and made of steel you could probably stretch it out a bit to fit a 135mm hub in.

it is 135mm drop out. So might go this route.
