As title looking for reccomendations of an expert wheel builder / lbs mechanic near Burnley, ribble or anywhere basically in Lancashire.

My wheels were totally rebuilt already with new spokes, nipples but keeping popping spokes, sure the lbs guy may have screed it up so they need at last a retention by somebody who knows what they are doing.

Try Paul Hewitt Cycles in Leyland, one of the few old-school proper scruffy bike shops I know around here.

You could also try Ride On in Rawtenstall; their mechanics are absolutely first class but I’ve no idea whether they are prepared to do wheels. Ask for Anthony or Andy, don’t get talking to Craig, he will never stop!
