    Pi(3.142???) x radius squared.

    area = pi x r^2

    => r^2 = area / pi

    => r = sqrt(area / pi)

    => diam = 2r = 2 x sqrt(area/pi)

    aera / pie = r(sq)

    Sq root of r(sq)= radius

    Radius x 2 = diameter
