2.0 104hp tdi T5 – 37-38mpg normal driving, around 42mpg when I ease back a bit.

Sprinter 311CDi MWB high top averages 33mpg if I’m good. Once got 34mpg on the way back from Skye. If I am bad it goes south of 30mpg and costs me dearly.

Astravan (only 1.3 CDTI so a toy van) and i’ll be getting mid 50’s easy every week.

On a run with plenty of motorway it’ll push 60mpg and thats not driving at 56mph. 70-80 on motorways. Just gone through 115k and its still pulling fine.

T4 LWB 01 van I get 30-34mpg higher range when on “long motor runs”
and its been said I have a heavy right foot…. 😈

1.6 TDi Caddy here on a 13 plate, consistently around 47.5mpg, 560 miles out of a tank. Mixture of motorway and short journies, mine isn’t the thriftiest driving style either…

Oh you lucky people! No diesels over here in Canada – just picked up a 2002 T4 camper last weekend with the 201hp VR6. Got 23mpg on a steady highway-only drive home. 😥

Next time maybe I’ll import a Tdi from Europe.
