In the ultra serious team of 6 category and it’s just us in that one.
So far we have plans for smoking some meat, BBQ, Paella and one of the guys makes cider for a living and is bringing some of that down. Fancy dress is an option and we are bringing our own tunes.

As we were the only team in out category we decided to chill out, there were 2 smokers chucking out incredible slow cooked ribs and other meat delights throughout the race, couple of Paella’s for sustenance, and a couple of Kegs of Willie Smiths Cider for hydration.
Only slight issue was as racing started there were only 3 of us on site, one not answering his phone and the 6th was a last minute sub and waiting for a lift up, fair play for just turning up on a sat pm to come and race through the night 🙂
We were the best fed & most content looking team till about 3am when it got a bit too cold to be social and everyone tried to catch a couple of hours of kip. Team of 6 was a great laugh but it was a long time between laps as we decided to do doubles, early hours mist was probably the hardest thing to deal with.
Still 37 laps was a good run out and would have put is 3rd out of all the other teams of 6 so happy with that as one guy managed 3 laps before having to run off home…
Final thoughts on things to take?
