Roast parsnips. OK so I have them in a roast every Sunday, not just at Christmas, but they are the greatest vegetable known to man.

Christmas pudding that's been cooked in the chest cavity of the turkey – it's been a family tradition for as long as I can remember and I always think it's not a proper christmas dinner unless there's a bit of fruit pudding with my turkey.

Home-made cranberry sauce. I could eat it all year and it just makes the whole meal! Tart but sweet at the same time with a bit of background heat from the spices… I'm off to make a sarnie with it now 😀

    Proper Bread Sauce

I've never had bread sauce despite it apparently being "an important part of a traditional British Christmas lunch". Am I missing out? Do you have it instead of gravy?
