i've had maxxis swampthing, high roller and mobster and kenda small blocks and they are the least grippy out of all those 4.

The 2.35 grips like a mother in the dry or damp, on hardpack… Certainly grippier than anything else I've used, when the conditions are right. Course, it's not just Kenda and me saying that, they've won literally every tyre test they've been in all this year.
