    I’ll be buying some non slip rubber matting as well.

    Regarding TJ’s comment about borrowing ramps, if we were in Birmingham, we could. Even though she’s in hospital in Birmingham, we both live in Worcestershire and they don’t supply them.
    I’m trying to find out if we can claim the cost back. There’s about £150 worth of ply there with another £50 to spend on matting.

    ive already mentioned that.

    if you have doors that close themselves either use wedges, or tins of food to hold them open.
