    you don’t need to go to china mate, they sell em here in the UK now. I had this one a few weeks back and it’s ace.

    Been looking, as last Wednesday’s night ride, admittedly overcast & a bit later than normal, ended as I couldn’t see enough, under tree cover.

    So, newest XM-L2 LED unit is seemingly this beaut:

    Looks like a brick and has a stupid external switch to break.
    Lots of dual XML (T6 and U2) units on ebay for not a lot of cash (£30) would be my first choice over any of the single XML units.

    Anyone know what going on with Li-ion batteries being shipped nowadays, sure I read that RM was being funny with them?

    Of course, if you want a decent/reliable light with proper (UK) support you need to spend a bit more with the likes of Smudge (MTB batteries) or Neninja (crgmoto).
