Transpennine trail in a day on a fixie. Not that I completed it but I did 180 miles of it before finally giving up. Made hard not by the distance but by my stupid choice of shorts which rubbed my arse ragged. I'll try again sometime, maybe with gears, it's perfectly doable as far as I'm concerned though.

Distance: Kona 100k in Builth on the back of a cold the previous week. Pretty delierious at the end of that.
Technically: Vancouver North Shore. Another planet technically, and so continuous.Posted 3 years ago # -
Some folks did it in half the time I did it in, some with no sleep
Some people need locking up. That's absolutely insane.
Samuri: You are...
SICK
AND
WRONG.

A 6hr+ Hayfield loop on a windy miserable day with way too many people. The fast guys paying no mind to the slower riders, most everybody pissed off. There was a moment at the top of Jacobs Ladder with me spitting in the wind swearing honest to the gods i'd hang up my spuds. Unfortunately for my bank account I didn't.

A four hour ride in Brazil - BIG hills and technical riding, wasn't helped by the temperature going from 26 degrees when we set out to 35 3 hours later. I was stuffed for days.
