    Trollope.

Kunst-Wet is also one of my favourite place names, it’s a metro station in Brussels.

Extrusion. Although “manager”, in it’s NHS, strategic, connotation, is also bloody hilarious……………… 😐

Gruntled. And it doesn’t mean what most people expect it to 🙂

‘Dogging’ – I just find it endlessly amusing that a furtive nocturnal activity has ended up being named after the excuse most often given to the local constabulary.

“Why, I was just walking the dog officer”

Certainly +1 for clunge and possibly bummder…. but my personal favourite is based on the charity mugger combo of chugger, CHUNTS (still used for describing those street people who want your dd details)

    DezB that’s mildly concerning.

More amusingly my best friend’s angelic 2 year old daughter has decided to call all dogs ‘Doggers’ so she happily wonders around the park pointing at people out walking and loudly proclaiming Dogger! in a rather accusing tone.

    Priceless.

I described a bit of trail as a Gnarbacular Drop the other day- that’s forum nerd joke, a phonetics joke and a computer game drop all in one. And yet despite all that, still not funny.

    “Wang”.

Also, “fud”. Especially when delivered in a Glaswegian accent, e.g. “He’s a pure fud”.

“Fudding” also works well as a verb or adjective.

Segue, for the surprisingly large number of people who struggle to pronounce it.

(and for the same reason, although to a slightly smaller extent, epitome)

Some of the old’uns are worth resurrecting.

    Curmudgeon. Guttersnipe. Ne’er dowel.

Failing that, more modern ones also amuse.

Plenty of good ones above. I might be pushing the boundaries with this one, but ‘pissflaps’ gets my vote for now.

Tymbian correct pronunciation is Keith Burtons,
