  • What's the difference between the old and the new Alfine 8?

    I see that the old SG-S501 has been replaced by the all new SG-S7000. Does anybody know what the differences are? I can’t find anything apart from this. My one is dying and looks like it needs replacing, so I’m weighing up my options. Is there a new 11 speed Alfine as well?
