… without it rubbing the inside of the legs. I’ve got a Pannaracer Rampage in there at the moment, but there’s room for something bigger. But how big and what?

3″ according to the web – Sam was running Surly Dirt Wizards when I met him.

Which fork? The early blue have less clearance than the cream ones. A knard on a 50mm rim easily fits in the latter.

I’ve tried a Knard on a Crest in my old blue ones and it wouldn’t fit. Weirdly, it would (just) in a mate’s apparently identical blue fork.

It’s one of the early blue ones. Thanks for the replies.

You might get a dirt wizard in or maybe one of the other slightly smaller ‘3inch’ tyres. Would think a knard or a chronicle will be a no go.
