That's such a depressing point of view Samuri. Wouldn't this planet be meaningless without something to attach meaning and value to it? Humans are the only species capable of that kind of thought process. so, without us, The planet would just be another thing floating about in space. That sounds arrogant, I know. I suppose it depends how much you value human consciousness, you obviously don't. You have my sympathy.

Countless asteroids still out there and the supervolcanos haven't gone away they're just doemant.
Yes we're still here for the moment but eventually either we'll evolve into something else or far far far more likely, the next supervolcano or large asteroid impact will finish us off.Don't you think that there's an astronomical level of arrogance to consider us humans the worst thing ever? We're really not that important although if you subscribe to the anthropic principle, some form of conscious life is inevitable and possibly even necessary.
