  • Whats the best pain killer for bruised ribs ??

    I broke a few. And a sternum. Ibuprofen 400 mg, three times a day took the pain away. Bruised a few recently and was back racing with the same.

    Needed tramadol for the facial fractures.

    Ribs hurt and they hurt for a month at least. When broken, they hurt for longer

    Never mind which painkillers, I would suggest not getting a cold or cough until your ribs feel better. I can tell you that it is fairly uncomfortable 😯
