  • What's smallest chain ring I can fit for 1×10 on an XT triple crank?

    Currently running 1×10 with a narrow wide 32t on a XT triple crank in the middle position. Got a 11-40t cassette on back.

    Was wondering g if I could get away with a 30t ring on the crank or would the spider overlap the teeth on the ring?.

    Race Face do a 30 tooth that works by sitting inboard of the spider by a few mm. Got one on one of my bikes on XT triple cranks.

    yep 30t. Hope do one aswell as race face and a few others. Like post above, they all work by have a few mm step so that the chain clears the spider arms.

    Gamut do a nice hard anodised 7075 one for £35.00
