Okay so I’ve junked my gym membership and I’m going to buy a secod hand road bike to keep fit.

I’ve been looking at a Litespeed Siena (frame is an ’08) but I’m trying to figure out how much the bike is worth – and I simply don’t have a clue.

    Here’s the spec:-
    frame Litespeed Siena
    Wheels Maciv Aksium race
    Chainset Shimano FC-r700
    mechs – Ultrgra
flight deck brakes shifters – ultegra
    Bars & stem Ritchey WCS
    seat post USE Pace carbon

All in very good nick, so any ideas what I shouold pay?? Cheers

if it’s the one with an integrated headset i wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole. i guess being 08 it will have a normal one?

    as to value? half RRP?

I would be aiming to pay circa £1000 perhaps £1100 tops if it is in really top condition and it is also what you want.

I sold a similarly specced TIME bike a little over a year ago for £950 with pretty much an all new Ultegra Groupset, new Askium wheels and new finishing kit.

cool, the seller wants £700 as he has too many Litespeeds lying around – he uses them as winter bikes!!!!

£700 sounds very good indeed! Go for it.
