Saturday night is grown up food night. Kids packed off to bed early, good food, wine, adult conversation and The Funk & Soul Show on 6Music.

Tonight I’m doing an egg curry.

    What is everyone else having?

MsMD is just finishing work now, we’re gonna wander up the road and eat at Frankie and Benny’s. Yes, i know its a generic fast(ish) food joint but as we haven’t seen each other outside of the house for a month due to work then we’ll grab our chance to eat somewhere – anywhere – that isn’t in the house!
Plus, i’ve ridden today, she’s back in work tomorrow at 9am and i can’t be bothered cooking!

Fell asleep in the sun on my back yard after a glorious road ride; woke up a bit damp, nippy and starving. Popped inside grabbed my hoody and raided the fridge for cold pizza, chilli prawns, veggie sausage roll, 2 boiled eggs, stilton and pickles accompanied with some rather hard chilli bread, cheese and onion crisps and 2 cans of Stella. Was lush, i’ve got the wind of Satan and can’t quite decide if i need a magnificent dump. If the stool materialise’s, i will then engage some apple pie with custard. Then be into the shower, and onto the wine for an evenings lazing, before some ‘internet research’ and an earlyish night.
