I think I’d need the beers if I was eating that lot. No offence!

Lamb Hot Pot. Already made, just needs to go in the oven to crisp up.

Since I’m sat at home waiting on the gas men, I’ve made Apple Rye Cake. There may also be custard.

Was going to be vegetable curry but that’s tomorrow now – cooked by me (very lazy as its Sharwoods sauce but hard to fault quality for minimum effort)

Meurgez (Sausages available in France which are actually tasty) with a variety of mushrooms and cous cous – cooked by GF.

Good grief, even some people’s dinner’s are niche.
Does nobody eat boiled beef and carrots anymore?
    With cold gravel for pudding?
And a kick in the knackers for afters?
Before getting up before going to bed.
    In a wet puddle?

I’m cooking (as I usually do), and tonight it’s shop bought steak pie, with lovely new potatoes and carrots (both local). Dab of Flora (yes, I know) on the spuds, some English mustard, and finishing off a random bottle of red.

    Fish*, pots & broccoli.

    Apologies 😳

*Actually, the fish is the new Bird Eye ‘fusions’ thhing – 300g in 2 pieces, with a light breadcrumb and actually leaves over 70% fish, instead of the usual 50% business.

    Ok, I’ve stopped.
