    Random late night ponder..
    Going to put up a small picket fence, B&Q have ronseal on offer, is it decent or should I look at something else, I don’t really want to be re-proofing it very often.

    If it’s rough sawn timber that’s pressure treated, I’d use a preservative rather than a stain, not water based or ronseal though. Try your local decorators merchant, Johnstone’s do a decent one at a decent price

    I’ve bought stuff from them in the past. Good advice given by them. Some of the stuff is expensive, but buy cheap, buy twice…
