  • What's a good alternative to an Endura Venturi jacket?

The more expensive Endura jackets seem to be made for people with stupidly narrow forearms.

The cheaper ones, like the Convert, are more reasonably sized – more like any other outdoor jacket I have. But the jacket materials aren’t so robust.

I tried the Venturi, Flyte and MT500 on with just a cotton shirt and they are very close fitting, with a microfleece on there is no gap.

Any suggestions for alternative hard shells to look at with as good robustness and breath-ability?

    [Paclite is obviously a non-starter.]

seen some recommendations for the velocity but I have also seen loads of reviews saying that it’s breath-ability is dodgy – otherwise it looks great…
